- ➤ Heartland United Way released statistics showing that 2,303 children in Hall, Hamilton, Howard and Merrick Counties received toys from the Toys for Tots drive, with 1,119 families donating toys. - ➤ St. Mary's Catholic Church held its annual Christmas dinner today in Grand Island, serving 650 meals as part of a 30-year tradition to bring community members together. Organizers delivered 250 meals while serving 400 at the event to help ensure no one is alone this holiday. KSNB
