- ➤ Students at Trinity Lutheran School were honored by United Veterans Club last-month for handing out over 400 handwritten gift cards and assisting with raising a new American flag at the school. The ceremony celebrated local veterans and reinforced the school’s civic goals. KSNB
- ➤ The Imagination City Children's Museum held a ribbon cutting today at 2120 Lawrence Lane in Grand Island, marking the opening of a new space where children can explore and learn hands-on. KSNB
- ➤ City Council voted Monday night (Dec. 8) on rezoning at Franklin and G Streets for multi-family housing; firefighters contained an early garage fire on 14th Street; Bryant Elementary surprised preschoolers with a lesson; and local events like the Be the Light Winter Festival and revived Live Nativity drew local attention.
