- ➤ Trinity United Methodist Church has revived its annual Live Nativity and Soup Supper after a break of five years due to COVID-19 (which halted events). The revived tradition now welcomes community members to gather in Grand Island. KSNB

- ➤ Nebraska hired San Diego State defensive coordinator Rob Aurich on a three-year deal after firing John Butler. He led a defense that ranked fifth in scoring (allowing 12.6 ppg) and previously coached at Idaho, aiming to boost the Cornhuskers’ performance. KSNB
