- ➤ The documentary 'My Town' about Grand Island will be shown at B&B Theaters at 6:30 p.m. on Dec. 4 and is sponsored by the City of Grand Island, Grand Island Area Community Foundation & Equitable Bank. - ➤ Resurrection Catholic Church at 4110 Cannon Road will host its first Fall Festival of Faith on November 9 with doors opening at 3:30 p.m. and music starting at 4 p.m.—the event will feature six church choirs, the Kearney Choral Arts, a Festival Children’s Choir, and a Festival Orchestra, with free-will admission supporting youth summer camps and inviting all denominations.
