- ➤ Today, the Nebraska Public Service Commission reminded natural gas customers of the Cold Weather Rule that will extend bill payment deadlines by 30 days from Nov. 1 through March 31 so that gas utilities—Black Hills Energy and NorthWestern Energy—have more time before service is disconnected. HEALTH NEWS
- ➤ Nebraska recorded 87 flu deaths last season—its highest since 2020—and as flu cases rise today, health officials urge residents to get vaccinated and follow preventive measures.
