EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Educators Health Alliance will raise insurance premiums by 7.25% for the 2026-27 school year for nearly all school districts in Nebraska, with medical plans up 7.44% and dental plans up 3.17% for active employees and retirees. The group implemented the changes using new pharmacy and cost-management programs—benefit adjustments remain minimal. KSNB
- ➤ Grand Island Public Schools is developing a master facilities plan to prepare for a rise of up to 20,000 residents by 2050 by gathering community input to decide on expanding or renovating schools including a new elementary school in the southwest.
