- ➤ On Saturday, downtown Grand Island hosted the Harvest of Harmony parade where 88 local high school bands marched before gathering at Grand Island Senior High for a field competition. Students used pit crews with bells and marimba—one participant noted that performing live added extra pressure and excitement to the event. KSNB

- ➤ Grand Island City Council approved an agreement for a New York company to lease land for a bitcoin data mine expected to generate revenue for the city — a move confirmed by a city official. The Grand Island Independent
