- ➤ The Treasure Trove at the Cove event will be held on Oct 4 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Liberty Cover near Lawrence + it will offer family-friendly fun for locals. KSNB
CULTURE NEWS
- ➤ Professional and emerging artists in Grand Island and across Nebraska are invited to submit up to six sculptures for the Sculpture Walk Across Nebraska exhibit — the deadline is Oct. 31 and notifications are sent in late November. Installations are scheduled for the first week of May, with each chosen piece receiving a $1,000 stipend for travel and lodging and a $500 bonus for the People's Choice winner. Nebraska TV
- ➤ The Grand Island Public Library announced that its 2025 Community Art Show is on display in the Library’s Art Alcove from October 1 through November 14 during regular hours — the opening reception will be held on Sunday, October 5 from 2-4 p.m. for visitors to meet participating artists. - ➤ Nebraska farm leaders are watching California’s legislative progress on AB 30—a bill that would legalize e-15 ethanol blends and could strengthen the market for locally produced ethanol.
