- ➤ Sixth graders at Westridge Middle School in Grand Island have started a new homeroom program—Cougar Time—that helps them set goals, learn about grades and bond with new classmates in small groups. - ➤ On Saturday at Memorial Stadium, Nebraska beat Akron 68-0 as the offense made long runs, eight big passes, and even scored a safety early in the game—108 players shared the field.
