Local4 has joined NBCUniversal’s Clear The Shelters pet adoption and donation campaign that will start on Aug.

1 to help local shelters raise funds and encourage pet adoptions. The event will run through Aug. 31 and will include a virtual pet adoption drive through Sept. 15.
