- ➤ AAA has reactivated its Tow to Go service in Nebraska to offer a free and confidential ride for drivers who are too impaired to drive from 6 p.m. today until 6 a.m. Monday to help prevent impaired driving on Independence Day weekend. The service cannot be pre-scheduled and may not be available in rural areas or during severe weather. KSNB
- ➤ Grand Island is asking the Small Business Administration and Nebraska Emergency Management Agency for emergency aid after recent flooding damaged local homes and businesses. City officials are compiling damage reports — they will use the findings to decide if properties with 40% uninsured losses qualify for disaster relief. Nebraska TV
