The 4th Street Firehouse Project will host a public visioning meeting on June 23 from 5-7 p.m. at the Public Library where local residents—business owners and community stakeholders—will help shape plans to repurpose the historic firehouse with guidance from South Dakota State University’s School of Design, Kansas State University and the TAB program.

Police arrested Anneudis Arias Pena after she fled a traffic stop on Monday, June 16, following a report that she trespassed at a closed residence on Sheridan Place—officers later found her near 4th and Clark and she now faces charges of trespassing, third-degree assault, felony flight to avoid arrest and not having a driver’s license.
