- ➤ Amanda Woodward, a technical sciences teacher at Lincoln North Star High School, was named the 2025 Advisor of the Year by Nebraska SkillsUSA during the spring conference—she was surprised when a Grand Island student announced her win while she sat with her students. Her leadership in launching the Aviation and Technical Education Focus Program helped her chapter earn a gold medal in the Chapter Excellence Program. Nebraska TV

- ➤ Today, Nebraska Cancer Specialists is offering a free drive-thru breakfast for cancer survivors from 7:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. at CHI Health St. Francis Cancer Center in Grand Island and CHI Health Good Samaritan Cancer Center in Kearney — survivors can enjoy breakfast sandwiches and receive a swag bag.
