- ➤ Hundreds attended the first Grand Island Spring Fling Farmers Market Saturday morning at a venue hosting 50+ local vendors selling fresh produce and baked goods. Local residents praised the event for strengthening community ties with local growers. KSNB

- ➤ The Huskers beat Oklahoma State 9-1 in Saturday's NCAA Super Regional, which sends the team to the Women's College World Series in Oklahoma City starting May 28. This marks Nebraska's first trip to the event since 2013. KSNB
