- ➤ On May 8, the names of Trooper Kyle McAcy + Officer Kolby Baber were added to the Nebraska Law Enforcement Memorial at 408 State Fair Blvd during the Police Memorial Day Service, where Gov. Jim Pillen and other officials honored their service. Central Nebraska Today

- ➤ The CDC says six Americans on the MV Hondius will be quarantined in Nebraska + a team will meet them at Nebraska Medicine’s biocontainment unit following a hantavirus outbreak that has already led to three deaths on board. KSNB
- ➤ CHI Health St. Francis invites families to join its free Summer Safety Spectacular on Thursday, May 21 from 5 to 7 p.m. in its parking lot; the event features inflatables, giveaways and safety tips (water, bike, and fire safety among others) from first responders and experts.
