GISH seniors are at Next Wave camp in Grand Island to build college confidence and learn self-sufficiency — the camp helps them connect with peers and mentors for life after high school.

Today marked the final day of races at Fonner Park—local racers safely finished the event as planned.

Nebraska baseball came back from a loss on Friday and an early three-run deficit on Saturday to beat Minnesota 5+4 at Hawks Field, evening the series at one game each.

The Nebraska volleyball team won its spring match against South Dakota State with scores of 25-18, 25-19, 25-17, 25-19 before 1,750 fans at Ord High School on Saturday afternoon and finished the season with an all-set sweep.

Harper Murray led the team with 12 kills while Andi Jackson and Rebekah Allick contributed key numbers — the Huskers hit .317 and blocked 15 times to secure the win.
