- ➤ The Nebraska Supreme Court ruled Friday that Grand Island man Nimrod Torres Aquino (43) will remain in prison for two sexual assault crimes against a 15-year-old girl (convicted in 2023) after his appeal arguing a doctor's testimony and his lawyer's performance was rejected. KSNB
