- ➤ The Nebraska Public Power District warns that severe weather may cause dangerous downed power lines—caution is urged for drivers along Anna Street in Grand Island. KSNB
- ➤ Anna Street in Grand Island is closed from Cleburn to Locust streets—road work that began Apr. 17 will continue until September, so drivers should find alternate routes. KSNB
- ➤ Hall County is honoring its 911 dispatchers today during National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week as the center, which handled over 33,000 calls in 2025, plans expansion with more bilingual staff — a necessary step to meet growing call volume and community needs. KSNB
