- ➤ Grand Island Utilities earned the RP3 Diamond Level honor — its first top-tier distinction — from the American Public Power Association, making it one of only three utilities in the state among the nation’s top 5 percent. - ➤ Hastings Police Department will use a Nebraska DOT traffic safety grant to join the 'Put the Phone Away or Pay' campaign from April 9 to April 13, adding overtime to focus on detecting distracted driving violations. Central Nebraska Today

- ➤ CHI Health Family Health Center held a ribbon cutting at its new 40,000 sqft facility as a celebration of a $30 million investment + 60,000 hours of planning, with the center set to open for patients on April 6 in Grand Island. KSNB
