- ➤ Some rain is expected later this week, but climatologists say it will not ease the severe drought across Nebraska. Dry, warm conditions have already raised wildfire risks, as shown by the latest U.S. Drought Monitor map (March 26). KSNB
- ➤ Local crews are monitoring the Cottonwood Fire burn area as warm, dry + windy conditions raise concerns of flare-ups. They remain alert to protect the community if conditions worsen. KSNB

- ➤ The Kansas City Royals held their home opener against the Minnesota Twins on Monday at Kauffman Stadium, airing free on KSNB and KNOP—Grand Island viewers joined in the tradition of supporting the team. KSNB
