  • Grand Island City Council approved a new 911 quality review and training software on March 25 with a 9-0 vote at an annual fee of $23,906, and the system uses artificial intelligence to monitor every call and radio transmission to reduce dispatchers' review time. The council also transferred $100,000 to Landscapes Golf Management for the JackRabbit Run golf course, tabled a 20-year conditional use permit for a sand and gravel business pending a water well review, and established a no-parking zone on Museum Drive to protect city property access.  Central Nebraska Today

Sen.
