- ➤ Farnam firefighters worked through the night — guided by help from neighboring towns — fighting grassfires that caused property loss while local groups delivered supplies and meals to the exhausted crews. KSNB
SPORTS NEWS
- ➤ The Huskers earned a No. 4 seed in the NCAA tournament & will play 13-seed Troy in the round of 64 in Oklahoma City. A win could give them their first NCAA Tournament victory and break their season wins record. KSNB
- ➤ The Nebraska women’s basketball team was selected for the NCAA Tournament and will play in the First Four on Wednesday in Durham (NC) against Richmond. The winner will earn a No. 11 seed and face No. 6 Baylor on Friday. Central Nebraska Today
