- ➤ Nebraska Secretary of State Bob Evnen applauded a new U.S.-Taiwan reciprocal trade agreement on Monday that will benefit agriculture and high-technology sectors by cutting 99% of tariff barriers and boosting export opportunities for beef, corn, grains, and soybeans. KSNB

- ➤ The USDA announced that Rosina Food Products has recalled 9,462 pounds of frozen Bremer Family Size Italian Style Meatballs for potential metal contamination sold at local Aldi stores – shoppers with an expiration date of Oct. 30 may return or discard the product as no injuries have been reported.
