- ➤ Heartland United Way is accepting applications for Rural Community Impact Grants today — offering nonprofits in Hall, Hamilton, Howard, and Merrick Counties at least $30K to fund community programs in health, youth opportunities, financial security, or resiliency. - ➤ Homebuyers gathered expert advice at the Central Nebraska Home and Outdoor Living Expo today. Proceeds will benefit the Nebraska Home Builders Association by staying in the community. KSNB

- ➤ Four individuals and one team were inducted into the Grand Island Senior High School Athletic Hall of Fame on Jan. 23 and Jan. 24 — honorees received recognition at the boys basketball game halftime and ensuing brunch.
