  • Buc-ee’s plans to open its first Nebraska travel center in Gretna in the Good Life District at the southeast corner of Interstate 80 & Highway 31. Mayor Evans says the project will create jobs, boost tourism, and generate tax revenue.  Nebraska TV
  • Grand Island's national livestock shows contribute $10 million annually — they risk ending if additional funding is not secured, according to the Fonner CEO.  The Grand Island Independent

  • Local officials hosted a roundtable (discussing the Working Family Tax Cut Act) in Grand Island to address housing affordability, while Derek Rusher is set to step down as Kearney Chamber President in mid-February.
